Many Thanks!

When you have a shop and some one comes in to browse and walks away with one of your books it is ‘more natural’ (if I may)…but the world wide web has blew apart the walls of that shop and anyone, anywhere–and I mean people who speak French and live in Africa–can buy my little book with one click.

It amazes me.

So thank you dear citizens of the world

for buying Graceful Grey, Asian Elephants at Work and Play.

I wish I could meet you in person, shake your hand, say thank you, smile and wave as you leave my leave my little bookstore.

I checked my book sales today and did a little playing on the web and discovered that Graceful Grey is actually on Amazon.com’s Best Seller’s List for large print! #36 to be in fact.  I will take that as another sign to keep moving forward with the My Color Friend Book Series!

Oh the internet!  Now…what to do next?

C.S. Lewis on Reading Fiction

Children need brave knights to believe in!

C.S. Lewis on Reading Fiction

We have more picture books on the way next week, and in 2 weeks I am tackling a stack of folktales & fairytales. I love reading fiction, particularly fairytales, because the story is good vs. evil, there are clear foes, and the brave heroes manage to win. Children need to read fiction if only to experience safely in a book the villains they will surely meet face-to-face in one form or another. Can’t wait to share more books with you!
